1/29/2011 5:10:12 PM I contacted this Restaurant looking for a job position as their Hibachi chef. They told me that they would provide me a living quarter where I would be sharing a room with one co-worker. However, after I've driven from Atlanta, Georgia to the restaurant in Robinson, Pennsylvania, I enter the living quarter to find out that there were actually four person to a room in that house, some others were sleeping in the living room. The house looked and smelled like an immigration camp. Everyone in the house were employees of the restaurant and were all minorities (Mexican, Indonesian, Chinese, and Vietnamese). I decided to take sometime working there to find out if the employees had any identification and as I had expected, most of them did not. The waiters and waitresses were not illegal but the ones who work in the kitchen or in the back away from customer were mostly immigrants. I even manage to get some of them to tell me they were illegal and how they had made it to the US. The owner got wind of me asking about my co-worker background and fire me. I had only worked there for 11 days, but luckily I gathered enough information to know that the restaurant is hiring illegal immigrants. The location of the living quarters were not given to me accurately and I was not able to obtain the address during my investigation.
